Photo Friday: Responsible Aquaculture at Riverence

<p>Earlier this month, FMI’s Seafood Strategy Leadership Council was hosted by <a href="https://riverence.com/" target="_blank">Riverence</a> for a tour of their aquaculture facilities in Twin Falls, Idaho. Riverence raises millions of fish annually in their facilities using their own egg supply. The farms are fed using rocky mountain spring water flowing up from the aquafer beside the farms! </p><p>FMI’s Seafood Strategy Leadership Council is comprised of senior leaders from all sectors of the seafood retail industry. They meet virtually and in person over the course of the year to learn and discuss key issues facing their organizations. </p><p>If you are interested in learning more about this committee or other groups like it please reach out to <a href="mailto:rstein@fmi.org">Rick Stein</a>.</p><p><img sf-custom-thumbnail="true" src="https://www.fmi.org/images/default-source/blog-images/riverance-image-0614.jpg?sfvrsn=46e75e46_1" style="margin:10px auto 20px;display:block;" sf-constrain-proportions="true" class="-align-center" width="580" alt="FMI's Seafood Strategy Leadership Council" sf-size="100" /></p><p><img sf-custom-thumbnail="true" src="https://www.fmi.org/images/default-source/blog-images/riverance-image-0622.jpg?sfvrsn=a3c3d4f0_1" style="margin:10px auto 20px;display:block;" sf-constrain-proportions="true" class="-align-center" width="580" alt="Riverance Aquaculture Facilities" sf-size="100" /></p><img sf-custom-thumbnail="true" src="https://www.fmi.org/images/default-source/blog-images/riverance-image-0619.jpg?sfvrsn=f4325899_1" style="margin:10px auto 20px;display:block;" sf-constrain-proportions="true" class="-align-center" width="580" alt="Riverance Aquaculture Facility" sf-size="100" />
