Max Armstrong looks at the value of dining together and that pause that allows people to stop and think.

Max Armstrong recalls a time when a family stop for an in-field meal was more common. Those times where families gather to eat. He talks about a social media post from a Kerry Hoffschneider, Yor, Nebraska who recalls those times in the field when folks would prepare those meals, take a break and eat together. She points out that one thing folks around the world have in common is that they gather to eat. Max shares a challenge she offers calling on everyone who eats to stop and think.

Max Armstrong’s Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
