Max Armstrong looks a new study from the University of Wisconsin published in the journal “Cleaner Production” shows that farmers can sequester carbon and reduce their overall greenhouse gas emissions. The news comes from Organic Valley Farms which was the site for the life cycle analysis. Max notes that the study accounts for benefits of grazes pastures. The key is time cows spend on pasture, a key part of organic dairy production.
