The Seam Selected as the 2021 Student Food Marketing Challenge Case Study Client

The Seam was honored to serve as the case study client for the Food Distribution Research Society Student Food Marketing Challenge. The competition tasked students with creating marketing strategies for connecting specialty crop producers with buyers, powered by The Seam’s technology platforms.

The competition took place earlier this month in Texas as part of the 2021 National Agricultural Marketing Summit. This year’s theme was “Resilience in the Market: Partnerships, Technology, and Innovation.”  The summit explored how public and private stakeholders have leveraged partnerships, adapted to technology, and used innovation to adjust to the challenging environment.

In addition to in-person teams, virtual attendees from all over the globe participated. Congratulations to the winners from University of Kentucky (US), Massey University (NZ), and Lincoln University (NZ)!
